Prosek is a Prague district with a rich history dating back to the Stone Age. Today, it is a modern residential area with good transport links thanks to the metro station and a wide range of shops. The dominant feature is the Romanesque church of St. Václav, reportedly founded as early as the 10th century. Prosek offers the expansive Park přátelství and is surrounded by interesting legends of underground passages and ancient events, including a legend about Prince Boleslav II and St. Václav. Famous figures once lived here, and air shows were held in the past.Wikipedia
